The Moment That Started It All
Zerenity Creates was born from a moment of unexpected change.
After being made redundant, I found myself standing at a crossroads with a one-year-old depending on me and a future suddenly asking to be redefined.
What initially felt uncertain quickly revealed itself as something else entirely:
The push I didn’t know I needed.
I chose to see it as an opportunity and a chance to build something of my own, something purposeful.
The name Zerenity Creates was inspired by my daughter, Serenity, my daily reminder of why courage, growth, and determination matter. She continues to be a big part of the driving force behind the business and the reason I strive to deliver my very best work.
Sometimes the most defining moments arrive disguised as challenges.
The Blind Developer With an Eye for Detail
At the age of two and a half, an accident led to permanent blindness in my right eye.
I’m a blind web developer, it’s a fact that often surprises people.
But what some might see as a challenge has become one of my greatest professional strengths (it took me a long time to get to this point).
Losing vision in one eye sharpened the way I see everything else. It taught me to slow down, to focus deeply and to notice what others might overlook.
In an industry where “attention to detail” is often claimed, my perspective has made it second nature.
Spacing, alignment, usability, structure, visual balance, the smallest elements can shape a user’s entire experience. I approach every project with intentional care because I know that details aren’t small…
They are the difference between good and exceptional.
This perspective doesn’t just influence how I design or develop, it defines the standard of work I deliver.

Beyond the Screen
While I care deeply about my work, I equally value balance.
I’m a lover of the outdoors and whenever the opportunity arises, my family and I pack up the tent and head off on a camping adventure. Exploring the countryside across Kent offers the perfect reset from the digital world.
I also have a long-standing passion for motorsport particularly the British Touring Car Championship. Earlier in life, I was a motorsport marshal before choosing to focus on university, and today you’ll still find me following the racing season closely, whether trackside at Brands Hatch or watching from home.
And when it’s time to truly unwind? Nothing beats a cup of tea and a good book even if my ever-growing reading list suggests I should carve out more time for it.
